FRIZZ! Rock Musical

FRIZZ! is an autobiographical solo musical about growing up with the entertainment industry, diet culture, and sexual harassment. A rocking story filled with humor and warmth, this is a journey to radical self-love for all to share. This 60-minute show has been in development since 2021 with the help of So Hilarious Comedy UK and The Spark File. I completed a run at the at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023 in Scotland. 

Carey Seward is a graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Theatre/Film Department in her home town of Fairbanks, Alaska where she lives and works. She writes, directs, produces and performs theatre, film, and rock n' roll. Original plays and musicals written, directed and produced include What the Hell is Wrong with Me (2012), Out There Honky Tonkin' (2013-2015), and Alone in the Dark (2016). Original full length plays include Herstory of Ann Shaxpere (2020), Monumental (2022), and The Weight of the World (2023). Recent directing projects include Miracle on 34th Street (2023), PsychoSarah (2022-present), A Midsummer Night's Dream (2022), and the Sound of Music (2019). Original Indie Folk Rock albums include Pure Fiction (2015), Civil Twilight EP (2016), Sugar in the Raw (2016), Saturday Night (2020), and FRIZZ! Soundtrack (2023).
